Bid Opportunities Project Bid Due Date Contact Location Bid Documents Morgan County Courthouse July 31, 2008  Kathy Hetrick  Berkeley Springs, WV Project Details: New Construction of the Morgan County Courthouse Berkeley Springs, WV   Approx. 47,000 SF   Job duration 550 days from Notice to Proceed   Bids Due:  Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at 2:30 AM   This project involves the construction of a new, free-standing courthouse to be located in downtown Berkeley Springs, WV.  The 47,000 SF facility will house the county’s Circuit, Family and Magistrate Court functions.  In addition to the County’s court functions, the following offices will also be housed in the new courthouse:  County Clerks, County Administrator, Economic Development, Deputy Clerk, Assessor, Fire Board, Chief Tax Clerk, Sheriff’s Tax, Circuit Clerk, Parole, Probation, Planning, County Commission, Recorder and Prosecutor Offices.   The work involves some site work, site utilities, unit pavers, landscaping, concrete, CMU w/ brick veneer, cast stone, structural/ misc. steel and decking, metal stairs, cold formed metal framing, carpentry, architectural woodwork, EIFS, spayed fireproofing, fire stopping, sheet metal flashing and trim, aluminum cornice/ decorative trims, joint sealers, waterproofing, EPDM roofing, doors/ frames and hardware (steel and wood), sectional doors, aluminum framed entrances and storefronts, access control security camera, glazing, gypsum board assemblies, ceramic tile, metal ceiling panels, acoustical ceilings, resilient floor tile, carpet, wall coverings, painting, toilet compartments, flag pole, signage and graphics/ cast metal characters, fire protection specialties, steeples and cupolas, ext clock, metal roof panels, toilet and bath accessories, security hollow metal doors/ frames, hydraulic elevators, extensive mechanical HVAC hydronic geothermal and solar systems, plumbing, fire sprinkler, electrical, generators, data, telecommunications and fire alarm system.   Plans will be made available to interested bidders by contacting Milestone Construction Services, Inc.
