Bid Opportunities Project Bid Due Date Contact Location Bid Documents Greenhouse Suitland Complex July 16, 2008    Juan Covarrubias  Suitland, MD  Project Details: Greenhouse Complex Suitland, MD   Approx. 95,400 SF   Job duration 365 days from Notice to Proceed   Wage Rates apply (Davis-Bacon); Addendum #1 has been issued.   Bids Due:  Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at 10:00 AM   This project is the construction of fourteen (14) greenhouses and related buildings.  The project includes building a greenhouse complex that includes fourteen gutter connected greenhouses, including structures, utility services, and furnishings, a 10,900 SF headhouse, a 12,000 SF outdoor growing area, a 4,000 SF shade house, a 1,500 SF propagation greenhouse, a 5,000 SF outdoor storage area, 6,000 – 9,000 SF outdoor recycling area, 44,500 SF polycarbonate greenhouses, a parking lot, and 10,000 SF space for future greenhouses.  The work will also include all site work and infrastructure, roads, parking and pervious parking areas.   The work involves some demolition, site work, site utilities and paving, landscaping, concrete, CMU w/ brick veneer, structural/ misc. steel and decking, waterproofing, pre-engineered building with EPDM roofing, doors and hardware (bullet resistant), curtain wall door, overhead doors, interior painting, louvers/vents, metal lockers, mechanical HVAC & plumbing, fire sprinkler, electrical, telecommunications and fire alarm system.   Plans will be made available to interested bidders by contacting Milestone Construction Services, Inc.
