This project is for the construction of a new Fire Station. The Germantown Station will be on a vacant
lot
Work consists of the construction of a new facility to house personnel
and equipment, including equipment bays, living quarters and
administration spaces. The Work involves some demolition, site work,
retaining walls, a new concrete, masonry and steel building, built-up
and metal roofing system, metal and Al windows, drywall and ACT, all
interior finishes, temporary buildings, mechanical HVAC & plumbing,
fire suppression, electrical, emergency generator, telecommunications,
security (video and access control) and fire alarm system.
Project include several Alternates which affect most trades and must be
bid separately. See Spec. Section 01230.
